Education

Christoper is a certified public accountant. He graduated from Texas A&M International University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He has experience working as an accountant for two different small businesses before obtaining his CPA license and moving into the public accounting field. He owns and runs a successful CPA firm in Laredo, Texas. He purchased Lamac Bookkeeping Services in September 2023. His expertise and knowledge in small business taxes allows him to provide guidance to the staff and help best service the needs of each client.

Justin grew up in Helotes, Texas and started his bookkeeping career in 2012 just after graduating from O’Connor high school. He worked for an accounting firm and managed the books and payroll for over 100 small businesses. During college he utilized his hands-on experience in bookkeeping and customer service to excel. He joined the Lamac Bookkeeping Services family in October of 2022. He worked closely with Joan Ramos & Christy Calamars to acquire their knowledge and understanding of the Lamac Bookkeeping Services clients. With their continued support he has fully invested himself into each and every account he manages.
In his personal life Justin has built his home in San Antonio with his beautiful wife along with their four amazing sons. He is a former Board Member of The Casa Helotes Senior Center and is also a Lifetime member of the San Antonio Livestock Exposition. He has volunteers with S.A.L.E for over 15 years, helping to raise monies for the Scholarship fund.

Joan grew up in San Antonio, TX and started her bookkeeping career in 1972 working for private small businesses in San Antonio and Dallas/Ft Worth area. In 1992 she purchased Lamac Bookkeeping Services, a practice established and nurtured by Charles McElfresh over 40+ years. Joan’s knowledge of bookkeeping and business ownership allows her to customize the services for the small business environment.
Christy Calamars - Office Manager

Also a native of San Antonio, Christy has worked in the bookkeeping field for 39+ years. Her main focus has always been small business. Prior to employment with Lamac Bookkeeping in 1995, she was employed by a CPA firm expanding her expertise in all phases. Christy is dedicated to meeting her client’s needs through professional service.
